FLANNERY PLANT INVEST IN 55 NEW KUBOTA EXCAVATORS TO A UNIQUE SPECIFICATION
Flannery Plant Hire, a market leading and innovative supplier to the construction and civil engineering sector, operate one of the most modern and sophisticated equipment fleets in the UK. Flannery constantly invest in new equipment with unique features to meet the demanding needs of their Tier 1 and HS2 clients.
Since the beginning of the year we’ve supplied Flannery’s with machines ranging from mini 1.5 and 2.5 tonne excavators up to midi sized 5 tonne excavators, all built to a high bespoke specification.
In the last week of March we delivered three identical 5 tonne Kubota excavators to Flannery’s Birmingham depot, all built to a uniquely comprehensive specification required to meet their client’s health and safety conditions on a national basis. These specifications include orange safety beacons, green seatbelt beacons with a Deadman’s device preventing operation of the machine unless the safety belt is being used, high visibility grab handles, TrakUnit telematics to AEMP2.0 standard, high visibility seatbelt, Mutley bucket ram guards, LOLER certification, CESAR security marking and registration, along with white noise travel alarm and Tema quick release couplings with the addition of Summit height and slew restrictors with a purple beacon. Finally, Miller hydraulic hitches, buckets, and the innovative Miller Mate safety system, which ensures that the correct attachment changeover process is carried out by the operator, were specified.
The machines were delivered, after preparation and pre-delivery inspection in our Tring depot, pictured below, with Flannery Plant livery ensuring that the new Kubota’s can go straight to work on-site, once delivered.
The remaining Kubota U17-4 and U50-5 machines will be delivered to Flannery Plant depots around the country, this week and next, bringing the total to 55.
Graham Stansfield, owner and Managing Director of Boss Plant Sales Ltd commented; “We’re proud to continue to supply such an influential name in the industry and look forward to working with them again in the future.”
